A station dedicated to the rental, practice and learning of mountain biking in summer
On sunny days, many visitors swap their skis and poles for a helmet and an ATV in La Clusaz. The town is best known for its vast ski area, but also has an impressive area for mountain biking. This space called "The Estate" is accessible to all ages (including children) and at all levels. It shelters 19 tracks (total 125 km practicable) connected between them by 3 ski lifts. Want to start smoothly? Venture on the Discovery circuit to increase your confidence capital. Are you a seasoned mountain biker? Take off on the Enduro circuit and improve your performance. Some tracks cross the forest to Grand Bornand. On the spot, you have the possibility of taking mountain bike lessons led by qualified and experienced instructors. You will have the choice between two providers: Evolution 2 and Alpes Aventures. Several shops offer mountain bike rentals in La Clusaz to evolve in the area (Le Schuss, Chalet Nordic, Sport Boutique, La Randonnée, Intersport Freesport).
The La Clusaz mountain biking area is open 7 days a week in July and August, and certain weekends in June and September (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

- Children from 5 to 14 years old: € 12.40 for 4 hours / € 13.80 for the day
The Bike Park
The Domaine de La Clusaz Bike Park is a fun space in the forest to improve your technique and test your composure. It has three circuits of three different levels, differentiated by colors. You will evolve on wooden modules and will find on your course some difficulties which you will have to overcome, in particular small springboards. The perfect plan? Start at the Bike Park to perfect your technique before setting off on a track on the Estate.
Tracks and ski lifts
The La Clusaz mountain biking area has 3 ski lifts:
- Skating rink cable car: open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in July-August, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in June and September.
- Beauregard gondola: open from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
- Loup and Merles chairlifts: open from 9:30 a.m. or 9:40 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 5:15 p.m.
Important: The transport of mountain bikes is not authorized in the skating rink.
Like the ski slopes, the Domaine's mountain bike trails are classified by color: green (easy level), blue (intermediate level), red (difficult level) and black (very difficult level). Most of the tracks are blue or red. You will find 1 black track (Les Encarnes, 3.9 km Enduro track, more than 600 m of elevation gain, departure from the summit of the Loup chairlift) and 3 green tracks (Family Run, Le Dahu, Bois de la Motte). The length of the tracks varies between 1.3 km (Les Juments, blue Enduro track) and 17.8 km (Merle / Danay, red track, cross-country circuit, departure from the Crêt du Merle chairlift summit).
