David Prétot was a member of the French Alpine Ski Teams (World Cup, Downhill and Super-G circuits) from 1988 to 2000, then transitioned into real estate after studying at the INSEEC. In 2004, he founded his first agency in Sallanches, Évasion Immobilier, which he sold in 2010 to open another real estate agency in Megève, the village where he was born and raised. The BARNES adventure began the following year, after which he opened locations in Chamonix in 2016, Annecy in 2017, Genevois and Pays de Gex in 2018, and then Aravis and Saint-Gervais. Today, David Prétot heads a team of 40 people and continues to cultivate his passion for entrepreneurship, taking risks, and striving to better himself. He is also a ski instructor and one of the few real estate agents in Megève who is from the village.
