Argentière

World famous for its Grands Montets ski area, much appreciated by off-piste enthusiasts, Argentière is a traditional mountain village located 10 km from the center of Chamonix and 30 km from the Swiss border.

Sports enthusiasts are attracted to Argentière for the quality of the Grands Montets and Tour ski areas and for the magnificent hiking trails.

The old village is mainly composed of traditional houses, while more contemporary chalets are located near the ski slopes. There are also some luxury residences in Argentière. The neighboring hamlets of Montroc, Les Frasserands and Tréléchamps are havens of peace, much sought after by those who wish to escape the urban bustle.
