Thoiry

Thoiry is a town that stretches from the highest peak of the Haute Chaîne du Jura to the Swiss border.

This town has all the advantages of a small commune on a human scale while having taken care to preserve its soul of village. Its proximity to the Geneva conurbation is its strength, as well as these roads that serve it very well.

On its own, it forms the canton of the same name. It has nearly 7,000 inhabitants and hosts the largest commercial area of the Pays de Gex.

Its hamlets are known and recognized as Fenières the most to the west, Baizenas where one can get and enjoy excellent dairy products, but also Gremaz and Badian.

Small and big at the same time, you have to come and try it to better appreciate it. On site, the church is the only monument of the city to visit, but the more adventurous of you can go hiking at the top of Reculet 1718 meters, with a splendid view of the surroundings.
